Juneteenth at Manassas National Battlefield Park!

Join the park for a very special commemoration. This year as part of our Juneteenth observance, we will dedicate the blacksmith shop of Andrew Redman, an enlaved African-American who witnessed the battles of Manassas and received his freedom at the Emancipation Proclamation. This event will include special talks and family programming.

Commemoration at 1:30 PM

Location: LAT/LONG: 38.810808, -77.549792

Look for signs that say Andrew Redman blacksmith shop parking. You will be pulling up onto the driveway of one of the park houses.

Hosted by the Manassas National Battlefield Park
